Penguins, right here in Christchurch

Today Kelly, Emma, Laura and me went on a crazy hike. We went from Sumner beach to Tailors Mistake beach and trail and continued onto the penguin colony. I did not even know we had penguins in christchurch, but WE DO! It was 10 hours in total, long day, and by the end we were very discouraged at not finding penguins, then I was taking a break sitting on some rocks and looked into a hole mysteriously labelled "105" well it turned out to be penguin home! There was a little penguin just sitting in there, it checked me out, i checked it out, then i called for the others, further along the coast there were many more penguin homes filled with adorable creatures. All in all, it was a successful mission.
